Narrativa means narrative in Spanish—a word that carries deep personal and creative meaning for the founders. Tali, who is Dominican, chose the name as a way to honor her cultural roots and the storytelling tradition that runs through both her heritage and her work as a photographer. For her, Narrativa is about preserving memory, capturing emotion, and celebrating identity through visual storytelling.
For co-founder Kelly, who happens to be Tali’s mother-in-law, narration, storytelling and reminiscence have been central to her life’s work. Kelly has been honored to witness countless stories and co-create narratives as a coach, therapist and activist. As an interior stylist and vintage enthusiast she uses found objects to tell a story and evoke a narration that transcends time.
